Originally owned by J. Telfar Dunbar & bought by the Scottish Tartans society in 1966.

This was a blanket spun, dyed & woven by a Christina Young & the date 1726 with her initials CY were stitched into the edge of the blanket.

This tartan is based on the Christina Young tartan, with the colours of Australia added, designed by Robert Young 2010.

(I thought that the Young`s in Australia needed their own tartan to represent them)
